Yesterday at the Galwan Valley in Ladakh two Indian soldiers and one officer were killed in a ‘violent face-off’ between the Indian and Chinese Army.

As per reports, senior military representatives of both sides will soon meet to prevent the situation from escalating further.

A Congress MLA PT Parameshwar Naik’s son in Karnataka got married breaking all the rules. An estimated 800-people attended the wedding among some were high profile guests. Health Minister B Sriramulu, Siddaramaiah, Leader of the Opposition, and G Parameshwara, former Deputy Chief Minister. No social distancing, no face mask in this coronavirus outbreak.

Online food delivery apps do provide a doorstep service, but with a huge risk, that’s for sure. A Hyderabad man Srinivas Bellam ordered food from the delivery service and was left disgusted. He ordered a combo pack of Butta Bhojanam from Subbayya Gari Hotel through Swiggy.

As he opened the food, he found an insect inside it. Thankfully, he found it before eating. During coronavirus time, online services claim to provide world-class safety but the reality is different.

“As soon as I opened the meal box, I saw that the dessert had something odd on it. On a closer look, I realized it was an insect. While these hotels and online delivery platforms are claiming to provide world-class safety standards, especially during the time of COVID-19, in reality, they are still selling unhygienic food. Fortunately, I saw the insect before eating the food.”

Swiggy, as usual, is pretty quick with there apology reply and asked for some time to get back.

Former Students Raised Funds As Teacher Forced To Sell Banana After Loosing Job

As the world is dealing with the pandemic and every individual has suffered one way or the other. Many have lost jobs, the business has shut. The world stopped. Amid all this crisis, one heartwarming story is coming in from Andhra Pradesh’s Nellore.

P. Venkata Subbaiah was earning his and his family bread and butter as a Telugu teacher in a corporate school. The coronavirus took his job away and he was forced to sell bananas to earn for his livelihood.

He is a Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) and also holds two master’s degrees in Public Administration and Telugu. This is the worst phase for a 43-year-old teacher.

He lost his job as management asks him to ensure 6-7 admission for the academic year to get his salary and retain his job. Subbaiah said:

“In the current situation, it is not possible to get new admissions. Who will enroll their children now? They will not even allow me to enter their house because of the fear of coronavirus.”

Amid this crisis, he is now seen wearing a mask pulling a hand-drawn cart in the town and sell banana. “I had no other option to support my family,” said Subbaiah. He lives with his wife and two children, aged five and six years.

However, selling banana can only fetch ₹200 a day while teaching he was earning ₹16,000 a month. He has over 15 years of teaching experience and never thought that his life would turn out this way.

Some of his former students, after finding out about his condition raised funds to help him and have managed to raise about ₹87,000.

Subbaiah is overwhelmed by what his former student did to him in the toughest times of his life. He said he will now return to his profession and will start teaching again.
