WhatsApp is the top source of viral news and if the news is fake it is circulated at the lightning-fast speed. This is nothing new. WhatsApp is also trying to least circulate the news on its platform. However, the news channel must do a fact check before reading them out live on TV.

A video posted on Twitter shows Times Now’s lead anchors Navika Kumar and Rahul Shivshankar reading a WhatsApp forward. The message has the name of 30 Chinese soldiers who are killed in the encounter with India.

They apparently read all the 30 names and both were competitive enough to read the names. In the below video, they can be clearly seen reading the names from the WhatsApp forward.

Times Now anchors were least worried about verifying about its credibility but was more eager for there TRP rating and started reading it. People online slammed their shoddy journalism.
