Twitter Rolls Out Audio Tweets For iOS, Android Users Asks ‘Ye Bhed Bhav Kyun’

A few days ago Twitter rolled out fleets in the Indian market. Fleet is the Twitter version of the story. And now Twitter has rolled out a new feature Audio Tweets. The latest feature is only available to iOS users.

To use the feature, open Twitter and tap on the wavelength icon. From there, tap on the record button and begin capturing 140 seconds of audio. If you go over the time limit, the recording will continue and will break up into the audio of separate tweets that can be shared as a thread.

Patterson and Bourgoin said on Wednesday:

“There’s a lot that can be left unsaid or uninterpreted using text, so we hope voice tweeting will create a more human experience for listeners and storytellers alike.”
