As Dawood Ibrahim Death Rumors Surfaces, Twitter Compare It With Undertaker

Dawood Ibrahim and his wife have tested positive for coronavirus. The underworld don’s personal staff and bodyguards have been quartine. The news is surfacing all around the internet since yesterday after intelligence reports claimed the same. Reports also said that he is admitted to Army Hospital, Karachi.

While the rumors are running high, on Saturday morning, another, rather more sinister rumor took over social media, with some sources claiming that Dawood had died of COVID-19 in Pakistan.

However, there are no confirmations on any reports and are all just rumors. Meanwhile, Dawood’s brother Anees Ibrahim, who controls D-company’s underworld operations and finance, denies such reports. He said that his brother Dawood and the entire family was not affected by the COVID-19 and are at their home.

A woman on the outskirts of Thiruvananthapuram was allegedly gang-raped and singed with cigarette butts by four men in front of her minor son. The incident happened on Thursday night.

Narrating the horrifying story, the survivor told police that her husband told to take her and their 5-year-old son to a nearby beach. Instead, he took them to a friend’s house. Once reaching there, the woman claimed she was forced to drink liquor. Later the group of men took her to a nearby vacant plot where she was sexually assaulted.

The woman said that the men burnt her with cigarette butts and slapped many times. The accused also slapped her son when he started to cry. Later, the men allowed her to go after she promised to come back after dropping her son back home.

While way back, going to drop her son, the woman gestured for a vehicle to stop. The woman narrated the harassment to the car occupant and then to the police. The woman was rushed to the hospital.

Thiruvananthapuram rural police superintendent Ashok Kumar said:

“Our preliminary investigation shows the husband was a party to the crime. He even forced his wife to not file a complaint. Some of the arrested have a criminal past.”

The police in the case have arrested five people including the survivor’s husband. The officer said the accused will also be charged under provisions of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (Pocso). Police suspect the accused were part of a drug-peddling gang.

State Women Commission member Shahida Kamal said the victim will be given protection and the commission will ensure that maximum punishment is handed out to the offenders.

It is shocking that in these tough times, these crimes are going on. After the strict laws against these crimes, the rate of crime isn’t decreasing. The same history follows with the female sexual assault. It looks like the criminal aren’t threatened by the law.

Twitter witness a bizarre trend as (#VirushkaDivorce) Virushka Divorce was trending on Twitter. As soon as the hashtag started, it spread like a wild-fire and soon started to trend.

The hashtag started after an old article surfaced that reported the split of the couple even before their wedding. However, the netizens are using this article to fuel this trend which obviously not the case.

And another tragic news is coming from Russia. President Vladimir Putin has declared an emergency after more than 20,000 tonnes of diesel oil spilt into Siberian river in the Arctic Circle.

The spill took place on May 29 at a power plant near the city of Norilsk. And the government agencies said that they came to know about the incident on May 31st.

“Why did government agencies only find out about this two days after the fact? Are we going to learn about emergency situations from social media? Are you quite healthy there?” Putin asked NTEK chief Sergei Lipin.

Norilsk Nickel in a statement said that NTEK had reported what happened in a timely and proper manner. The company said the fuel tank was damaged when supporting pillars that had held it in place for 30 years without difficulty began to sink.

Putin said a national state of emergency was required to call in more resources for the cleanup effort.

Official: Here Is The Reason Why Mitron, Remove China App Are Removed From Play Store

Mitron an Indian app went viral and soon was removed from Google Play Store. Another app developed by Jaipur based OneTouchAppLabs names as ‘Remove China App’ is also suspended from Google Play Store.

Till now, there was no statement from Google. Now, Google has responded and has given the reason for the removal of these apps.

Mitron emerged as TikTok rival and later discovered to be a copy of an existing short video app called ‘TicTic’. And the remove China app, it detected and removed third-party “Chinese” apps on smartphones and helped users bulk delete them.

Sameer Samat, Vice President, Android and Google Play, said in a statement:

“Earlier this week, we removed a video app for a number of technical policy violations. We have an established process of working with developers to help them fix issues and resubmit their apps. We’ve given this developer some guidance and once they’ve addressed the issue the app can go back up on Play.”

The Mitron app was removed. It should be back on Google Play once the developers fix the issue pointed out by Google.

“This is a longstanding rule designed to ensure a healthy, competitive environment where developers can succeed based upon design and innovation. When apps are allowed to specifically target other apps, it can lead to behavior that we believe is not in the best interest of our community of developers and consumers. We’ve enforced this policy against other apps in many countries consistently in the past – just as we did here,” Samat added.

Remove China app “encourages or incentivizes users into removing or disabling third-party apps or modifying device settings or features unless it is part of a verifiable security service”.

As for the Remove China Apps app, it doesn’t look like the app will be back on Google Play.
