Russia Declares State Of Emergency After 20,000-Ton Fuel Spill In Arctic Circle

We all want good days from life. But, life comes with good and bad times. And this 2020 only exists to show us what no one even thought of seeing. After a number of tragedies in the year, another one is reported from Arctic Circle.

We have seen Almost WW3, Kobe’s death, Australian wildfires, Pop smoke death, Coronavirus, Economy crashing, KimJong-in dead/not dead, Pentagon released UFOs Footage, Delhi Earthquake, Cyclone. Just a few to mention.

And another tragic news is coming from Russia. President Vladimir Putin has declared an emergency after more than 20,000 tonnes of diesel oil spilt into Siberian river in the Arctic Circle.

The spill took place on May 29 at a power plant near the city of Norilsk. And the government agencies said that they came to know about the incident on May 31st.

“Why did government agencies only find out about this two days after the fact? Are we going to learn about emergency situations from social media? Are you quite healthy there?” Putin asked NTEK chief Sergei Lipin.

Norilsk Nickel in a statement said that NTEK had reported what happened in a timely and proper manner. The company said the fuel tank was damaged when supporting pillars that had held it in place for 30 years without difficulty began to sink.

Putin said a national state of emergency was required to call in more resources for the cleanup effort.

Hoping, 2020 passes soon.
