Vijay Mallya, the fugitive businessman is staying in England for a long time. India was trying for his extradition as he is 9,000 crores default in the country. And now, sources in the investigative agencies disclosed that he would be flown to Mumbai as a case against him is registered there.
Vijay Mallya will be accompanied by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the Enforcement Directorate (ED) officials. A medical team will do his medical check-up at the Mumbai airport.
Mallya has used all his legal rights in the country and is left with no legal rights. The UK high court has accepted that he has done fraud and has asked to share details of the prison where he would be kept after extradition. The agencies shared a video then.
All the formalities in the country are completed and the process to bring him in India can be done soon. However, some say it is just a matter of days.
