The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) ordered both Google and Apple to take down the popular app from its app stores.

TikTok is banned for allegedly showing ‘pornographic’ and ‘shady’ content.

“There were over billion downloads of the mobile app and ex-parte orders were passed by the Madurai bench of Madras High Court,” said Senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi who represented ByteDance which owns the app.

The user who already has the app installed on their phone will be able to use but, a new user can’t download the app, according to the reports. Now it is up to the companies to do it or appeal the order.

Day after day harrowing incident of abuse against children are coming into light. The latest is from Hyderabad, where a 3-Year-Old girl was sexually assaulted by two female attendants at a pre-school.

The incident was of April 10th and came to light on Sunday when the minor girl started having nightmares and blood stains were found on her clothes.

She was immediately taken to the hospital where medical tests confirmed that sticks and stones were inserted into the child’s private parts.

NDTV reported, “It was alleged that the ayahs (who were taking care of the children) had inserted a stone in the private parts of the child. The child was sent for medical examination,” said Venkateswara Rao, a senior officer of the local police.

Accused are identified but, are absconding. A case under the strict Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act is also registered. Activists are demanding for the pre-school to be shut down.

On Sunday, a 19-Year-Old boy was allegedly shot dead by his friend in Delhi as they posed with a pistol while filming a video for TikTok app.

Three friends Salman Zakir with his friends Sohail and Amir drove to India gate and while returning home, were making a video for TikTok app.

Sohail sitting next to Salman, who was driving the car, pulled out a country-made pistol. He aimed it at Salman while trying to make the video but the pistol went off shooting him on his left cheek.

“Sohail aimed the pistol at Salman for making a Tik Tok video, but the pistol went off shooting Salman on his left cheek,” Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Madhur Verma said.

Two friends panic after the pistol went off and they drove the car to a relatives house, where Sohail changed his bloodstained clothes. Later, they took Salman to the nearby LNJP Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. The hospital authorities informed police about the incident.

“Amir and Sohail panicked after the incident and drove the car to a relative’s place in Daryaganj, where Sohail changed his bloodstained clothes. With the help of the relative, they took Salman to the nearby LNJP Hospital, where he was declared brought dead,” the DCP said.

Police have arrested three members in the case. Two friends Amir and Sohail along with their relative, namely Sharif. While Sohail arrested on the charges of murder, Amir was found guilty for disposing the weapon. Sharif was taken into the custody for disposing the blood-stained clothes of Sohail.

Such controversial, disgraceful comment by a senior leader is a shame.

25-year-old, Zakir Pasha resident Kagaznagar in Asifabad district, Telangana came out to vote who has no hand. This didn’t stop him from voting. This man is an inspiration for the people around the country.

Zakir has no hands but on April 11 he went to a polling booth and voted using his foot.

The staff at the polling booth were surprised when he did not ask for any help from them. Instead, he lifted his foot and pressed the button on the EVM machine, reports TOI. He said:

After voting, he got inked on foot.

According to The Print, the girl was confined to a room and force-fed a concoction of herbs, chillies and papaya till she began suffering cramps and vomiting.

The 14-year-old was confined to a room for about a week after the school authorities learnt about her pregnancy. All this happened to save the reputation of the school. After all the efforts by the school authorities failed, they took the girl to the hospital and that was the case exposed.

Following the case, School’s CBSE affiliation was cancelled. But, the school got the State Board permission and are running till class 8th and had shut down girl’s hostel.
