Day after day harrowing incident of abuse against children are coming into light. The latest is from Hyderabad, where a 3-Year-Old girl was sexually assaulted by two female attendants at a pre-school.
The incident was of April 10th and came to light on Sunday when the minor girl started having nightmares and blood stains were found on her clothes.
She was immediately taken to the hospital where medical tests confirmed that sticks and stones were inserted into the child’s private parts.
NDTV reported, “It was alleged that the ayahs (who were taking care of the children) had inserted a stone in the private parts of the child. The child was sent for medical examination,” said Venkateswara Rao, a senior officer of the local police.
Accused are identified but, are absconding. A case under the strict Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act is also registered. Activists are demanding for the pre-school to be shut down.
