The second day in a row, Delhi is shaken with Earthquake with 2.7 magnitude.  2nd time inside 24 hours has left Delhiites frustrated. Yesterday, around 6 PM tremors were felt in the capital Inside earthquake threat, Outside Corona threat. Kare to Kare kya?

Mangaluru: Teenager Takes Friend To Apartment In Suitcase Amid Coronavirus Lockdown

In a bizarre incident in Karnataka’s Mangaluru, a teenager student was caught while carrying a friend inside the apartment in the suitcase. Due to Coronavirus, the apartment has banned outsiders inside society. The student was frustrated at the apartment association denying permission.

The incident happened in an apartment complex located on Arya Samaj Road. The teen was so bored and he kept pestering the society association to allow his friend. After multiple failed attempts, he took the bizarre step.

The incident is of Sunday, the boy locked his friend inside a huge suitcase and decided to bring him in. The things didn’t go as planned. The members of the society grew suspicious about the huge bag as there was movement inside the bag.

The occupants of the society were in shock to see a human coming out of the suitcase. Next movement the cops were called and took both of them to the police station.

Later, the parents of both the students were summoned to the station. No case has been registered in this connection.

Amid coronavirus, more than half of the globe’s population is in lockdown including India. The 21-days lockdown to stop the spread of COVID-19 is going to end on April 14th but it is almost sure that lockdown will be increased at least for another 15 days.

Asked For Curfew Passes In Patiala, ‘Nihangs’ Chop Off Cop’s Arm, Injure Two Others. Arrested

India is lockdown and most of us are sitting at home and are safe. Then there are the frontline workers who are not only risking their lives but also their families too doing their duty 24×7 since the pandemic taking place.

Then comes the people who can be called as illiterate. These people are breaking the lockdown rules and are not cooperating with cops. In fact, in Punjab’s Patiala a group of 4-5 Nihangs has attacked cops when they were stopped.

The incident took place today in the morning. A group of four-five ‘Nihangs’ (Sikhs armed with traditional weapons and dressed in loose blue top) were traveling in a vehicle and they were asked to stop at a vegetable market by the Mandi board officials.

When they were asked curfew passed, they crashed the car into the barricade. They even attached the cops on duty.

Senior Superintendent of Police, Patiala, Mandeep Singh Sidhu said.

“They were asked to show (curfew) passes. But they crashed vehicle against the gate and barricades put up there. An ASI’s (Assistant Sub Inspector) hand was chopped off by a sword. A Station House Officer of Sadar Patiala sustained an injury on his elbow and another official suffered an injury on his arm in the attack.”

The injured cops were rushed to the hospital while the ASI is shifted to PGIMER in Chandigarh as he required surgery. The incident took place when the restrictions are in place due to COVID-19.

Police have arrested seven suspects from a Gurwara in Balbera village. One suspect was injured in the firing and was rushed to the hospital.

20-YO Cycles 2,000 KM In a Week From Maharashtra To Reach Home In Odisha

Coronavirus has put a brake into everyone’s life. The people staying away from their homes desperately wants to go back. As the lockdown started the daily wagers from Delhi started walking towards there home as no transportation was available. Now, a 20-YO returned home after cycling around 2,000 km from Maharashtra.

20-YO Mahesh Jena used to work in a factory in Sangli-Miraj. The factory where he worked was closed after the lockdown was announced due to COVID-19. The migrant worker cycled around 2,000 km from Sangli-Miraj in Maharashtra to Jaypur in Odhisa. It took around 7 days of time to reach the destination.

Mahesh Jena bought a bicycle for ₹1200 and started his journey on April 1st in the morning. He was stopped twice by police on the Andhra-Maharashtra border and Andhra-Odisha border, but cops allowed him.

Police inspector Ashish Kumar Sahu said:

“With a rucksack on his back, he was cycling. After the lockdown was announced, the factory in Maharashtra where he worked as a daily laborer was closed leaving him and several others in great misery. He somehow managed to get a rickety bicycle from a local there and started cycling to his home in Odisha”.

Mahesh Jena reached his hometown on April 7th and was stopped at the border of his district. He was sent to the district headquarters hospital for screening as per the protocol. He was then sent to the government quarantine for 14 days.

Jajpur block development officer Sourav Chakraborty said it was incredible the way he cycled to his home. “His journey would make a very good script for a movie.”
