In Indore doctors attacked, In Punjab cops were attacked. Just a few to mention. Now disturbing news from Uttar Pradesh’s Rampur. Corona Warrior was allegedly killed after the locals forcefully feed him sanitizer.

The young man Kuwar Pal was doing sanitization work in a village. While working, a few drops of sanitizers dropped on the legs of the people sitting nearby. This made the locals angry and they started to beat Kuwar Pal.

Not only this, but they also put the pipe of sanitizer machine in his mouth and made him drunk. During treatment, he died. The incident is of April 14th and since then the treatment was going on but on April 17th during treatment he died.

Police, on the other hand, has registered a case against Indrapal and four others. The investigation has also started. Police have registered a case under sections 147, 323 and 304 against five accused. No arrests have been made yet.

Unable To Get ‘Likes’ On TikTok Videos, Teenager Ends Life In Noida

A teenager allegedly hanged himself at his home in Noida as he was depressed over not getting likes on his TikTok Videos. The 18-year-old lived in Salarpur, under Sector 39 police station limits in Noida. The incident happened on Thrusday.

The teenager was active on TikTok, posting regular videos. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Noida, Ranvijay Singh said:

“The local police reached the spot immediately after they were alerted about the incident. They broke down the door that was bolted from inside and found his body hanging from the ceiling fan on Thursday evening.”

“During the inquiry, it came to light that he would make videos on TikTok and nobody was ‘liking’ his videos on the video-sharing app since past few days. It’s a shocking finding. People from his family and neighborhood said that he was really worried over not getting ‘likes’ on his TikTok videos and that is why he took this extreme step,” the officer said.

The ADCP said no suicide note was found from the spot but the teenager had told his family members and neighbors that he was “depressed” because he was not getting the expected response on the social media app.

“However, we are investigating the matter and proceedings will be carried out depending on the findings in the case,” Singh said.

A popular social media app now, India is one of the most significant markets for TikTok.

A grandson of the former prime minister, a son of the former chief minister Nikhil Kumaraswamy married Revathi the grand-niece of former Congress Minister for Housing and one of the richest politicians in the state, M Krishnappa, on Friday.

The wedding took place at the farmhouse of Kumaraswamy and around 100 guests attended the wedding. There were around 50-60 members HD Deve Gowda’s family and more than 30 people participated from Revathi’s family.

Kumaraswamy had shifted the wedding venue to the farmhouse and reduced the number of guests due to the lockdown imposed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Karnataka’s Deputy CM Ashwath Narayan said on Thursday that action would be taken against Kumaraswamy “without a second thought” if guidelines not followed during his son Nikhil’s wedding.

Lockdown? Hundreds In Karnataka Gather For Religious Festival In A COVID-19 Hotspot

India is in lockdown due to COVID-19 and while going out people need to follow social distancing. This is not the case in some parts. A few days ago in Tamil Nadu, hundreds gather for the funeral of a bull. And now in Karnataka, hundreds gather for a religious festival at a hotspot.

Around 100-150 members ‘participated in the Siddhalingeswara temple chariot festival in Chitapur village on Thursday. Kalaburagi is a coronavirus hotspot in Karnataka. The district has witnessed three COVID-19 related deaths. Kalaburagi has witnessed the first causality in the country.

On April 16th morning, 100-150 members came out of their house violating the lockdown rules. People gathered near Siddalingeshwara temple for about 20 minutes and took part in chariot pulling procession.

Police have registered the case against 20 people and others being identifies. The investigation is underway. A sub-inspector is suspended.

The citizens of the country need to cooperate with the police and follow the lockdown rules. People collectively need to understand the severe consequences of COVID-19. Looking at the country’s population, this type of negligence might result in significant destruction.

Two Arrested For Smuggling Liquor From Haryana In Private Ambulance

Amid lockdown, India is closed except for the essential supplies. Due to lockdown, everyone is facing inconvenience in a way or another. In these tough times, the one product which is in immense demand is Liquor.

The central government has kept liquor apart from essential commodities while some states have opened the shops to generate revenue. The regular drinker are often on Twitter requesting the government for opening of the shops.

In the states where stores are closed, liquor is in high demand and is selling at double or triple the price. Looking at lockdown as the chance to earn few extra bucks two men are arrested by police smuggling the liquor in a private ambulance.

The vehicle was seized in south Delhi. A total of 913 smuggled illicit liquor bottles were found from in the ambulance. The arrested were identified as Harish Lohia, 34, who was driving the vehicle, and Devender, 40.

The DCP of (Dwarka), Anto Alphonse said they were tipped off about smuggling liquor in an ambulance. He said:

“Our team laid a trap near the local crematorium. Around 9.30 am, the ambulance, a Force jeep was spotted and stopped. Its driver and another occupant tried to flee but were caught.”

The police found a cold storage unit inside the ambulance filled with liquor bottles. A total of 25 cartons, containing 913 bottles of illicit liquor, were recovered. Recently, a Delhi Police officer and a milkman were caught smuggling liquor in the city.

The government on a daily basis requesting people to maintain social distancing but some people don’t seem to be bothered about the novel virus. In Muduvarapatti village of Tamil Nadu huge crowd gathered for the funeral of a Jallikattu bull.

A video shared on Twitter show, hundreds if not thousands of people came out of their house to attend the funeral of a bull.

The funeral took place on April 12th and the administration has order an inquiry. Meanwhile, On April 15, DM TG Vinay said FIR has also registered against the people who attended the funeral.

This is the complete irresponsible act by the people. They must follow government guidelines and remain safe and extend their support to help fight against COVID-19.
