Google started to roll out Android 9 Pie — The Latest Android Version today, which was unexpected. The first to receive the update is Pixel devices and Essential Phone.

Earlier today Google announced the official name of the latest version of its mobile operating system as Pie. And to everyone’s surprise update for Google-owned Pixel devices and essential phone have also pushed. Devices that were enrolled in the Android Beta program will also be getting the Pie update “by the end of this fall.”

Other Android devices will get the update throughout this year, says Google. The feature in which user can check out how much time they used an app called “Digital Wellbeing” is not out yet and Google says it’ll be updated in the later parts of years. Those who have enrolled in the beta version with Pixel devices can use this feature.

Here’s a list of things Pie is supposed to be able to get right:

  • Prioritise battery power for your most-used apps.
  • Set the brightness to how you like it, depending on your setting.
  • Offer actions in apps based on your previous activities – for example, suggest a route to work during your morning commute.
  • Later this year show “Slices” of apps in other apps – for example, searching for Lyft in Google Search displays a small section from the Lyft application with ride prices, and so on.
  • The system navigation bar has a single home button, and the ability to swipe up to see an overview of the device.
  • Options displayed for selected text depend on the context and meaning of the words. For example, if you highlight the name of a restaurant, you’ll be offered to search for Yelp reviews of the place.

On 1st May at the annual F8 developer conference, Facebook has announced to launch a dating feature, and a glimpse of the feature is out by Facebook. Currently, the Facebook Dating feature is being tested internally. There is no update from the company on any further update. The company confirmed that the product is in testing within the Facebook app.

Facebook Dating will allow you to create a separate profile for dating. You have to be 18+ to use this Facebook feature. Facebook dating will give you the option to choose you to select who can or cannot see your profile. It’ll not be featured on your news feed.

To complete the profile, you need to select your gender, Who you are interested in your current city of residence. Now, your profile is ready to message on Messenger or WhatsApp. The best part you don’t have to tell Facebook about your like or dislike as Facebook already knows everything about you.

There is no update from Facebook when this feature will become live. But, this will be an exciting addition in the services provided by Facebook. Google Releases Statement Related To UIDAI Helpline Number on Android Phone

Debate of Aadhaar (UIDAI) security is going on from a long time now and recently TRAI chairman RS Sharma shared his Aadhaar number on Twitter and gave an open challenge to steal his personal information. Moreover, to this, his information was public as well in a few hours.

On August 2nd, the matter boiled when a French security expert Elliot Alderson raised a question on Twitter to ask users whether their phones have UIDAI toll-free helpline number in their contact list.

And to everyone’s surprise, they found a number saved in the name of UIDAI was found. People started to express their anger on Twitter.
Just a couple of hours ago, Google on its official account released a statement which reads:

So, Google says they added code accidentally.


According to this, the code is still in the Android devices, and Google says that they will be updating it in the upcoming updates. People already started tweeting in anger to this. But for now, what interest’s more is that on whose order did Google updated the number or have they do it by themselves, because UIDAI has already denied saying:

“UIDAI has reiterated that it has not asked or advised anyone including any telecom service providers or mobile manufacturers or Android to include 18003001947 or 1947 in the default list of public service numbers.”

For sure the concern is not going to end here, and the blaming game will not stop anytime soon. In the end, it’ll be the Citizen who may have to suffer from this if some issue happens.

Facebook went down for some users on Friday for a short time. Thousand of the user from North America and Europe reported about Facebook being down. After an interruption of some time, it was back on track. It now appears to be usually working again.

In a statement, a Facebook spokesperson said: “Earlier today, a technical issue caused some people to have trouble connecting to Facebook, and it has since resolved.”

A man well-dressed stands on the streets on Washington DC with a banner “Homeless, Hungry 4 Success. Take a Resume”. This poster went viral on Twitter, and more than 200 companies approached him for a job offer. He indeed is a web developer named, David Casearez.

David was living in his car from past one year. Casearez. was qualified for an interview in Apple in January, but couldn’t succeed in landing a job was filled internally, he said:

On Saturday in twitter, his photo of him holding a placard and his resume was retweeted over 50,000 times and was liked over 70,000 times.

“I wasn’t expecting that kind of response,” he added.
