Taapsee Pannu Interested To Portray Mithali Raj In Cricketers Biopic

Biopics are trending topic in Bollywood. We have seen so many biopics of a few inspirational legends and their aspiring stories as well. A Biopic on various sports are regularly coming — this time its female cricketer whose story is all set to inspire you — Mithali Raj. Viacom 18 Motion Pictures have acquired the rights to portray her story.

Mithali Raj is the captain of Indian Women’s Cricket Team and the highest run-scorer in women’s cricket. She is the only one to have crossed 6000 runs in International cricket. Over the years Mithali, has played in 10 Tests and 194 ODIs besides 77 T20Is in her illustrative career.  For her achievement, she has awarded with Arjuna Award for Cricket in 2003 and in 2015 with Padma Shri.  She made her international debut in June 1999 against Ireland. She is also known as Lady Sachin.

Taapsee Pannu has shown interest to became Lady Sachin on the screen. But, According to Viacom 18, the movie is still in his initial stages. Right now, they are collecting material and the script has not been written yet. Taapsee had made herself a contender. On the other hand makers of the biopic are also interested in Taapsee as well.

On May 9 this year, a 66-year-old retired banker living in Gururgram received a friend request from Jenny Anderson. After this things started slowly. The woman told him that she lives with her family in London and her business are in many countries including India, and she needs to travel for that. The woman said that she has a jewellery shop. After this, talking on WhatsApp between the elderly and the woman also started.

After believing the matter of the woman, the elderly deposited Rs 13 lakh in the account of the woman without informing anyone. After this, gradually the person took loans from people and sent 22 lakh rupees to his account. The real game began when the woman called the elderly to meet London, but after the person refused, the lady said she would come to India herself. He told that he would fly by flight in Mumbai and then will depart for Delhi.

After this, on June 1, a call came to the man. A woman named Pooja was talking on the phone. Pooja introduced herself from the Immigration Department and said that your friend Jenny had been arrested with the foreign currency of 68 lakhs at Mumbai airport. After this, Pooja gave a call to Jenny. Jenny began to cry on the phone and said that you should provide money now.

After this, the elderly deposited ₹35 lakhs in separate accounts of Jenny at different dates. In the meantime, the people from whom the old man had taken money started making pressure for money. After getting money into the account, Jenny never came to meet the elderly. Man-made several calls using Facebook and WhatsApp & messages as well but no answer came. After this, the elderly has filed a report in the DLF 1 police station.

Using a smartphone is a necessity now. But, collecting them is probably we haven’t heard of. This guy named Jayesh Kale from Thane, Mumbai have this unique collection of Nokia devices. He started collecting these cell phone from 2013 and has gone on to collects the devices since then. He also has Limca record for his collection in India.

So, back in his college, he dropped a Nokia device from the second floor. The phone was into pieces. He assembled and switched it on, and the phone worked to his surprise. He says – I didn’t fall in love for Nokia, Nokia fell for me. Later he went to buy a new phone, then another & another. Buying again & again then, suddenly he realised he already has 20 phones. He continued buying, and the whole of his house is filled with Nokia Phones.

He also has a lot of stuff apart from the phone. Accessories like Bodies, Headphones, Chargers as well. There was n number of boxes too. But because of space he got rid of that stuff.

Collecting all these stuff have also troubled him a few times. From the customs department, during the car checking. Whenever the security people check the car, and they detect something, and it starts beeping, which leads to n number of questions. These are frustrating said, Mr. Kale.

Custom agencies also came and asked a lot of question. Piyush buys a lot of stuff from eBay, Uk. They called me so, and I went to meet them. They started asking me so many questions like How can you use a satellite phone in India. It’s illegal. Then we told them I’m into Nokia collection, Showed them my Limca record and then some legal paperwork was required.

He says, around 10-11 lakh have spent to build this collection. These phones are worth approx 40 lakh, and he says, he does not want to sell them in the near future. He is also planning to go for the World Record.
