Everyone is familiar with how migrant workers across the country suffered after the sudden announcement of Lockdown to stop the spread of coronavirus. Honestly, the worker’s pain can’t be described. Sonu Sood is one of the celebrities who came forward and is helping tirelessly to help the workers reach there home.
He came in the form of a savior for them. Instead of praising for the cause with the actor is doing, politicians are shamelessly attacking the actor.
The ruling party Shiv Sena’s Sanjay Raut has targetted the praise that the actor is receiving all around for his efforts.
Raut wrote that during the lockdown period, a new “Mahatma” named Sonu Sood has come all of a sudden. He wrote, “It is being said that Sonu Sood transported millions of migrant laborers to his home in other states,” and the Governor of Maharashtra has also praised “Mahatma Sood” for his work.
Raut said that this suggests that nothing is being done by the state governments and the Central government. He questioned the actor as to where is he getting the buses from during the lockdown period.
“When the states are not allowing to take any migrant workers, where are the migrants going?” Launching a further attack, Raut wrote that the Bollywood actor “may soon meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and become the celebrity manager of Mumbai.”
