Former Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif Sentenced 7 Years In Jail

Former Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had been sent to jail for seven years by the anti-corruption court on Monday in Islamabad. Former Pakistani PM has been accused of several corruption charges and was found guilty of one by the court.

Last year Sharif was disqualified from his office for hiding the income which he earned from his son’s company, and since then former PM was is surrounded by trouble.

Earlier this year Pakistan’s three-time leader was handed ten years in Jail along with her daughter who had sentenced for seven years for not able to provide the income detail by which he purchased the luxury flats in London. He was released in September from the above charges.

Now, he has been cleared of all charges except the ones related to the steel mills in Al Azizia. For the same, he had been given seven years jail and a fine of $25 Million for the same.

However, it is expected that the Sharif and his lawyers will knock the door of the higher court.

A man in Islamabad, Pakistan climbs the mobile tower and threatens to kill himself if not made Prime Minister of the Country. The man, identified as Muhammad Abbas with a Pakistani flag in hand climbed up a tower in the blue area of Islamabad.

The man said he could better manage Pakistan. He can improve economic conduction and have abilities to clear all the debts in six months.

Police and the rescue agencies reached the spot and tried to bring the man down from the tower. But, he maintained that he would only come down if he is assured to be made Prime Minister or if the arrangement is made to talk with PM Imran Khan.

After serious attempt and assurance from the Police and agencies the man refused to come down. Later the mimic artist by name Shafaat Ali talked to the man in Prime Minister’s voice.


He talked to Shafaat Ali, the mimicry artist for about five minutes. He taught he is talking to Prime Minister Imran Khan himself and later climbed down.

Police have taken the man into custody and have moved him to the area police station.

Indian Government Gave Authority To 10 Agencies Which Can Now Access, Track Any Data Stored In Any Device.

On December 20th Indian Government gave legal authority to 10 agencies which can intercept, monitor or decrypt information generated, transmitted, received or stored in any computer.

These agencies can look into your computer and can reach to any data stored in your device.

The government has given these agencies this power under Section 69 of the Information Technology Act, 2000 and Rule 4 of the Information Technology Procedure and Safeguards for Interception, Monitoring and Decryption of Information Rules, 2009.

The ten agencies which government have identified and given power are:

  • The Intelligence Bureau.
  • The Narcotics Control Bureau.
  • The Enforcement Directorate.
  • The Central Board of Direct Taxes.
  • The Directorate of Revenue Intelligence.
  • The Central Bureau of Investigation.
  • The National Investigation Agency.
  • The Cabinet Secretariat (R&AW).
  • The Commissioner of Delhi Police
  • The Directorate of Signal Intelligence (for service areas of Jammu & Kashmir, North-East, and Assam only).

According to reports, these agencies could only track data at the movement, but now they have the power to monitor any data revived, stored and generated.

  1. This means not only your calls emails or browsing these agencies can also track any data stored on your device, and even now have the power to seize the equipment.
  2. The notification also made it clear that any Subscriber or Service provider will have to provide the entire corporation and is bound to extend all facilities.

If the person refuses to corporate, then it may face seven years in jail and a fine.

The order had come under attack by opposition parties.

Ravi Shankar Prasad IT Minister of India, came out to defend the decision of Modi Government — Saying this has been going on from a long time and now the interception will be done in a structured manner on the defined ground of security.
