Syed Shuja the mystery man who claimed EVM could be hacked did not even attempt EVM hacking at the event organised in London.

The man made several claims about EVM hacking didn’t have anything to prove his words. The man in question didn’t even fly down to London. Instead, he was video conferencing from California. He was sitting a room with face covered making several claims.

Syed Shuja said that the 2014 election in which BJP led NDA won by a landslide victory, was rigged. Congress lost 201 seats in 2014 because of EVM tampering. He also said Gopinath Munde who died in the accident was aware of EVM hacking and therefore was killed.

Syed Shuja made multiple claims but has not been able to provide a shred of single evidence.

The Election Commission of India soon after released a statement denying all the claims. The Election Commission says EVM have no communication modules, hence cannot be hacked wirelessly. Any attempt to connect to the machine will result in tampering and therefore not possible to hack.

Soon after all the claims and the show of EVM hacking went flop, and the man wasn’t able to provide any evidence of his claim. Everyone on the twitter became EVM hacker and posted some funny technique of #MainBhiEVMHacker.

On Saturday a shocking crime was witnessed in the Tulai village, of Thane district. Murbad police arrested a girl studying in class Xth on Sunday for allegedly strangulating a neighbour’s two-year-old baby.

According to News 18 Two-year-old kid (Manishka) went missing on Saturday evening while playing near her house following which local people along with the police launched a search in the area.

Suspecting that the 16-year-old girl who lived nearby might be involved in the child’s disappearance, the police searched her residence sometime after midnight and found the child’s body hidden in the house.

The accused was scolded by the victim’s mother two days ago which upset the girl, and she wanted to take revenge which made her commit the crime, said the inspector Ajay Vasave of the local police

The food delivering service Zomato is again in the news and all for the wrong reasons this time as well. Last month a video in which the delivery guy was seen eating food and sealing it back went super viral. People were anxious then and trust issue was raised.

On Friday, a family in Maharashtra’s Aurangabad was in for a shocking ‘treat’ after they found plastic fibre in the paneer items they had ordered through Zomato.

Sachin Jamdare alleged that plastic fibre was found in the items he ordered. “I ordered paneer chilly, paneer masala, etc. for my children. When we started eating, my daughter told me the paneer was very hard and her teeth hurt while chewing it. When I tasted it, I found fibre.”

Jamdare said — I was worried about my children’s health. I went to the restaurant to speak with the owner but, he did not respond satisfactorily and blamed everything on food delivering company.

As his concern was unheard, Mr. Sachin decided to lodge a complaint. “I wanted to raise awareness among our countrymen how these people can play with our health for something as little as Rs150,” Jamdare said.

Later, looking at the incident, Zomato released the apologetic statement said that the restaurant in question is removed from our platform. We are deeply committed to food safety, quality, and hygiene. The Company refunded the amount to the customer as well.

Multiple reports published by the websites claims that around 1000-1200 trees were cut down to build a temporary helipad for the visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Odisha.

PTI reports Divisional Forest Officer (DFO), Balangir, Sameer Satpathy said that several trees were felled near the railway station ground in the district to prepare a temporary helipad without obtaining prior and that an inquiry has been ordered.

News 18 reported: Two days ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheduled visit to Balangir district, and a row surfaced on Sunday over alleged cutting of trees to prepare a temporary helipad.

Divisional Forest Officer (DFO), Balangir, Sameer Satpathy said several trees were felled near the railway station ground in the district to prepare a temporary helipad without obtaining prior permission.

Other Publication including The Logical Indian, Scroll, National Herald, ScoopWhoop published according to the Hindu. The Qunit earlier reported “Hundreds of trees cut to make helipad space for Modi’s Odisha.” On January 15th same article was updated by the Qunit which headline “No Trees Cut for PM Modi’s Helipad During Odisha Visit: Reports.”

The Indian Express, Indian Times few other regional websites also covered the story on the day publishing about the trees being cut down to prepare the helipad for the Prime Minister’s visit.

On the matter, Times Of India have done a fact check, and their report says “Only shrubs and few saplings were removed for the helipad, and no big tree was felled. Our investigation shows that the area in question never had so many trees, to begin with.”

Also, the enquiry done by Railways reveals only shrubs and few saplings have been removed for PM helipad, no big tree was down

All these facts prove that there were no cut down of the big trees as there were not many big trees at first place. The ECoR spokesperson also told the TOI reporter that some six trees were pruned and around 40 shrubs and few saplings were removed.
