It looks like the lockdown in the country is only for the common man. Most of the commoners are sitting at home and waiting for life coming to normal. Looks like the VIPs do not have to worry about all these situations. In this lockdown period, former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda’s grandson Nikhil Kumaraswamy gets married.
A grandson of the former prime minister, a son of the former chief minister Nikhil Kumaraswamy married Revathi the grand-niece of former Congress Minister for Housing and one of the richest politicians in the state, M Krishnappa, on Friday.
The wedding took place at the farmhouse of Kumaraswamy and around 100 guests attended the wedding. There were around 50-60 members HD Deve Gowda’s family and more than 30 people participated from Revathi’s family.

Kumaraswamy had shifted the wedding venue to the farmhouse and reduced the number of guests due to the lockdown imposed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Karnataka’s Deputy CM Ashwath Narayan said on Thursday that action would be taken against Kumaraswamy “without a second thought” if guidelines not followed during his son Nikhil’s wedding.
I can count 8 people without mask and without any social distancing. But it’s politician family they can bear all the rules and regulations.

My cousin applied for 8 persons only for his son’s wedding, which was scheduled for today in Gurgaon. The promptness with which it was rejected… makes us want to see that speed in other approvals too 😀

Can you imagine police entering the premises and doing lathicharge ? Me, neither.
Rules are for poor people only.— chacha monk (Gharelu aadmi) (@oldschoolmonk) April 17, 2020
‘Why didn’t the Bengaluru police arrest them’ is more important question than ‘why Kumaraswamy family didn’t honor the lockdown’. Anything @BSYBJP sir?
We’ve got so accustomed to the idea of VIP privileges that a neta standing in a queue appears to be a great gesture to us.

Due to the pandemic, thousands of events canceled. Everyone are facing trouble, but VIPs got nothing to worry. They can get permission for what they want. To organise a wedding needs people from different fields to come forward.
In Madhya Pradesh BJP leader Govind Singh Rajput was seen on camera violating all the social distancing norms.
BJP MP Manoj Tiwari reached Harayana just to play cricket without a mask and no social distancing followed.
