Working longer doesn’t mean more productivity. Microsoft Japan has proved it. Let’s admit this, Friday is a working day but we do everything but work. On Friday, the weekend mood is on. Microsoft Japan came up with 4 days working.
In Japan, a quarter of Japanese companies require their employees to work 80 hours of overtime in a month. To address this overwork culture, the company came up with an experiment. In August, they gave 2,300 employees, 3 days weekend for 5 weeks straight. The hope behind it was employees on Monday return feeling more refreshed.
Even with 3 days weekend, 40% improvement in productivity, Microsoft Japan announced.
Not only productivity improved. The employee used 23.1% less electricity also took 25% fewer leaves during the month. And the 92 % employees said they like 4-day work culture. Now the company plans to implement it again in the near future.
India’s capital cities people are living in extremely difficult situations. The surrounding states are surely worried about how to control pollution. From last week, AQI in Delhi has let a public health emergency in Delhi-NCR. UP is the nearest state and to keep pollution in control UP Minister Sunil Bharala came up with an idea.
This is every year issue as the farmers from neighboring states start burning stubble. The blame game in political history is a long game but this time everyone has to come forward and find a proper solution to it for once and for all.
Sunil Bharala, Minister of State (MoS) of Labor Welfare Council in the Uttar Pradesh government came up with a unique solution. He while speaking to ANI said:
“Farmers have always practiced stubble burning and it is a natural system. Repeated criticism of it is unfortunate. Governments should hold ‘Yagya’ to please Lord Indra (God of rain), as done traditionally… He (Lord Indra) will set things right.”

Delhi hasn’t seen the sun and days are passing. People are in living in public health emergency condiction and here is Sunil Bharala coming up with an idea which will not be appreciated.
I think government should order yagya for river ganga in all riverbank states against the river pollution and placing it as a goddess…this will restrain people making it polluted.. kyu na andhviswas ko hi pollution ke khilaf govt ka ek shastra bna liya jaye. @amitabhk87

India today tasted first defeat against Bangladesh in the T20 match. This was the first match played in Arun Jaitley stadium after it is renamed from Feroz Shah Kotla stadium and India lost by 7 wickets.
Rohit Sharma was leading the team as Kohli is rested. India lost the toss and was invited to bat first. Batting first India posted 148 and gave a target of 149 to Bangladesh. The Tigers achieved the target with three balls to spare and 7 seven in hands.
Initially, there was a lot of talk about the game will proceed or not after looking at the Air Quality Index in Delhi as Pollution body control declares a public health emergency in the national capital. BCCI President Sourav Ganguly told the game will proceed.
Here is how Twitter reacted to India’s first loss against Bangladesh.
Loosing to Bangladesh at home is a Crime, Specially in T20i’s !! ( No Shakib, No Tamim)
Rohit Sharma intentionally lost the match so that Indians don’t burst residual crackers from Diwali on Indian victory and contribute to already prevailing #DelhiAirEmergency.
Cricketer Rohit Sharma might’ve lost, Environmentalist Rohit Sharma won. What a man! Salute! #IndvsBan.
First match after renaming Feroz Shah Kotla stadium to Arun Jaitley stadium and India lost to Bangladesh for the first time. Some poetic justice this 😂😂😭😭 #IndvsBan
It’s November and it is that time of the year. #NoShaveNovember. The campaign started in 2004 by the Movember Foundation charity.
And to go with No Shave November is not shaving for a month and donating the amount you spend for shave entire month. The aim of no shave November is to create awareness by embracing hair, which many cancer patients lose.
The campaign is quite popular around the world and Indian actively participate in it too. The major issue with Indian is the Desi Mom. Firstly, making them understand the campaign is tough ask and then convincing the other. And then comes Log Kya Kahenge and all stuff.
Leaving all this behind, Twitterati comes up with laughter dose, involve the No Shave November.

How often do we see a child searching for a partner for a parent? Obviously, a rare case. But parents are always on search mode. This is one such scenario where a daughter is hunting a groom for her mother.
She accompanied the tweet with a selfie of herself with her mother and wrote, “Looking for a handsome 50 year old man for my mother! 🙂 Vegetarian, Non Drinker, Well Established.”

Since Diwali, Delhiites haven’t seen the sun. The national capital is polluted and the situation is getting tensed. The city is shrouded by a haze of dust and smoke. On Friday morning the Air Quality Index was up to the highest at 459 — The highest of this season.
Pollution control body declares a public health emergency in Delhi-NCR.
The construction activity is banned until November 5th. Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal has blamed the neighboring states for the pollution in the city. Isn’t the time to come together and look out for the immediate solution.?
https://t.co/p4MfgVND4C
According to the experts, young children should be kept indoors till air quality improves but the school remains open today. Lately, Delhi CM declared the school to be shut till November 5th.
A slight improvement is only expected by Sunday when winds are expected to pick up. The localities and the people all around the country remain concerned. As the city’s situation is getting harmful.

Read the reviews for Udja Chaman here.
Even at 2 hours, the film feels never-ending! @MeSunnySingh plays his character very well, even though there’s nothing much to do. The idea is to talk about many good things at once – shaadi issues, body shaming, baldness and self-acceptance, but does not really delve deep.
#UjdaChaman is a FANTASTIC film.. Perfect blend of Humor, emotion, and a very Important message for society… 3.5*/5 @mesunnysingh Shines bright, #SourabhShukla maintains his standard of delivering exceptional performance like always #UjdaChamanreview 3.5*/5
#UjdaChaman is a dud show right from the start to finish. I have no idea why would you desperately try to be the first Bald film in Bollywood & be a very stupid one at that! All characters remain mere caricatures with missing storyline & below average direction. #UjdaChamanReview
#UjdaChaman fails to entertain. Slow screenplay, insipid script & weak direction hampered the novel concept . Dialogues lacks punch which are important in situational comedies. Sunny Singh performance is mature & praiseworthy,he is the saving grace. Rating- ⭐️⭐️ #UjdaChamanreview
Too much forced humor except few giggles here and there. #SunnySingh performs fairly, but the script lacks punch and a good flow. Looks too hurried and mostly unconvincing. Let’s see the 2nd half. #UjdaChamanReview

In an RTI filed by Dhanraj S Pillai, a software engineer from Kochi was in shock when the RTI revealed that Kerala Power Minister and senior CPI-M leader M. M. Mani’s official car had tyre changes 34 times in 30 months.
The RTI was filed by Pillai in the first month of October and received the reply on Tuesday, October 29. Dhanraj S Pillai occasionally raises RTI queries on social issues who is a software engineer by profession.
Dhanraj S Pillai said:
“At times I file RTI queries on social issues. But this really shocked me. For an ordinary person, it is difficult to imagine that his (Mani’s) two-year-old car had so many tyre changes. It is good if they realize they are burning tax-payers money.”
Shri M.M. Mani should be appointed as the “Ambassador of Ferrari” ! As per an RTI enquiry, he has had 34 tyre changes in 30 months for his official vehicle i.e. 1 tyre change every month. pic.twitter.com/SiF1HrdTAI
As the news was getting headlined everywhere, Minister M. M. Mani took Facebook to explain his side.
“He said he belonged to a high-range area (mountainous) and rubber burnt fast there. Let trolls enjoy it. During this period I traveled 1,24,075 km. Most of these travels were in hilly terrains of Idukki. We all know in such terrains life of tyres will be short.”
M. M. Mani added— All cars are monitored by state tourism department which deals with all types of vechile issues.
According to tyre manufacturers, the normal life of a tyre is 5 years or a distance between 25,000 to 30,000 km.
