‘Yeti Footprints’ Pictures By Indian Army Sparks A Meme Fest

Indian Army surprised everyone when they claimed that their mountaineering expedition team noticed some footprints which seem to be of the snowman Yeti.

According to urban legends, Yeti is a two-legged white, shaggy ape-like animal and is described to be 10-20 feet tall. The footsteps found by the Army had measured 32×15 inches, clearly suggesting that they did not belong to a human.

British explorer named Eric Shipton first captured Yeti footprint in 1951. There are several movies, documentaries books and even video games on the Yeti as well.

“For the first time, an #IndianArmy Moutaineering Expedition Team has sited Mysterious Footprints of mythical beast ‘Yeti’ measuring 32×15 inches close to Makalu Base Camp on 09 April 2019. This elusive snowman has only been sighted at Makalu-Barun National Park in the past.”

After the Indian Army’s Twitter handle posted the posted on the official account. Desi Twitter has started expressing opinions. Few considered it as a joke and there were several others who were surprised as to why such news is shared by the army.
