Food is what I live for. Food is love more than that Food is life. When it comes to Indian food this is a never-ending love story. You can try as many cuisines as possible but desi food is just mouthwatering. Not just this, there are so many varieties of food. Every state has its specialty.
The whole point of argument here is, one man thinks ‘Indian food is terrible.’ He was responding to a tweet asking people for “controversial food opinions” and professor Tom Nichols has some unique and unconvincing thoughts.
Indian food is terrible and we pretend it isn’t. https://t.co/NGOUtRUCUN

A pretty straight forward answer — Indian food is the best. Also, you can search on Google to know why Indian food is best. You can find n number of articles on it. And some of the famous Indian dishes.
All the food lovers on Twitter combined to tell the professor you are mistaken!
Mush, mash, grease and tons of tasteless meat with raw salads fit for cattle to take care of guilt, all from pouches and boxes and takeaways cause they’re too obese and/or lazy to cook! Not even for children do they cook from scratch! But yes…better than Indian food!

For three months when I travelled in USA, I faced hell regarding food. Most putrid, tasteless and abdominal. I couldn’t get a knife even. Only fork. A burger is so big it won’t enter my mouth. We, Indians, “eat” our food like civilised ones. Not stuff it.

I would give you that Indian cuisine isn’t for everyone. This is even acknowledged in India and there is even a saying for this in India: ‘Bandar kya jaane adrak ka swad?’ Which literally means “our food is not for sophisticated palate” (like yours).

WTFFFFFFFF??????
Honestly I could eat for the rest of my life. You must be used to undercooked boiled chicken.

Have you not tried the lunch buffet? So many delish choices! And the Nan bread…omg! I took a Peruvian friend to an Indian buffet, in Munich. He went back for thirds. Lol! 😋 pic.twitter.com/lQZk8hiih6

Some people are so mistaken and pretend they aren’t.

Don’t know what he had…but for certain he will miss some of the best cuisine in the worlds. But then your buds have to also evolve beyond fish and chips. pic.twitter.com/M6M5QNNAwH

Unless you’ve literally tried every single type of Indian cuisine there is no way you can make such a general statement.

There’s a difference between controversial and stupid.
Twitter: “What’s your most controversial food take?”@quinncy: “Mayo is disgusting” @soledadobrien “Lettuce, why bother”@seungminkim: “PB&J is an abomination”
Twitter: *yawn*
Me: Indian food is terrible

Indian food tastes best in Indian, not in some US or UK restaurants.
I am sure I will have a delightful time, but I am less sure that my aging palate can change its mind. With that said, the only Indian food I’ve ever had is in restaurants in the US and UK.
