Pakistan Prime Minister Calls Osama Bin Laden A ‘Shaheed’ In Parliament, Gets Hammered All-Around

It is a well-known fact that Pakistan is a land of terrorism. Their are enough proof around and often come ups at regular intervals. Osama bin Laden is a deadly terrorist, the world has witnessed. And the Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan in a parliament calls him ‘Shaheed.’

In a parliament, he was speaking how Pakistan has been humiliated across the globe despite having sacrificed lives in the war against terrorism. Imran Khan said:

“One was when Americans killed Osama bin Laden in Abbottabad. Shaheed Kar Diya (was martyred). But what happened after that. The entire world hurled abuses at us. Our ally (US) entered our country and killed someone without even telling us. It was a big humiliation.”

Osama Bin Laden was killed on 2nd May 2011 at Abbottabad, Pakistan by the US in a military operation.

Imran Khan’s comments did not go well. Pakistan Peoples Party and Pakistan Muslim League (N) sharply criticized the Prime Minister on his comments. Describing him as ‘shaheed‘ set social media abuzz as soon as a video of his remarks got out.
