Chef Vishnu Manohar In Nagpur Attempts World Record For Making 3000 Kg Khichdi

A chef in Nagpur Vishnu Manohar prepares 3000-kilo pot of Khichdi. By making Khichdi, he attempts world record of serving 3000 kgs of Khichdi in one vessel.

Vishnu Manohar attempted the World Record ahead of the World Food Day which is on October 16th.

The giant vessel, built in Kohlapur can hold 3128 kg of Khichdi and weights 510 Kg. 275 kg of rice, 125 kg of Moong dal and 100 kg of ghee were used in preparation.

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari was also present at the event to congratulate chef Vishnu Manohar.

Chef Vishnu says the reason he is attempted the world record for Khichdi is because he demand’s government to declare Khichdi as the national dish. People of all age from child to elderly everyone eats it. That is what I’m trying from last two years. He continued saying — It is the most healthy and affordable meal.
