As we all begin our New Year on a higher note, the Prime Minister of India too did the same. He visited Lakshadweep – India’s Island Union Territory. This all is good & fine but, inspired by the youth Narendra Modi posted his trip pictures on Social media and. that cause Tsunami in Maldives – India’s Favourite Holiday Destination (atleast before these pics) But, not any more.

These photos were sufficient enough to trigger a few politicians in Maldives against Indian Prime Minister and Local for Vocal began in no time. The Indian jump in straight away with Boycott Maldives and it started trending online everywhere this will hurt Maldives.
The Island country main source of Income is fisheries and tourism. Among tourism, Indian are the most to visit Maldives. The country’s Government took action after Boycott Maldives started trending and suspended their three officials who made derogatory comment on India.
The 3 idiots who just cost Maldives and its tourism industry a fortune in cancellations from India and potentially much more going forward. Which is sad, since India-Maldives relations go beyond election cycles. Never underestimate the dangers of casual contempt. pic.twitter.com/RIygi50b9v

Ease my trip, India’s flight ticket booking portal suspended their travel bookings to the Maldives. The Maldives government is urging China to invest more and send tourist in their country. All this happening around has not stopped social media users to show their creativity.
