That brings the aggregate to 7:6. Now they are just one step away from the trophy and the team standing between then is Real Madrid.
Real Madrid’s Champions League Journey:
Real Madrid had somewhat shaky to their season and finished 2nd below Tottenham in their group with 13 points. Due to which they face Paris St. Germain in the Round of 16 which they won on 5:2 aggregate in which Neymar had a season-ending injury.
Next, in the Quarterfinal Real Madrid was drawn with Italian Champions. The 2nd leg in this tie was most thrilling one in this year Champions League which Juventus lost to a controversial last-minute penalty, which even saw Buffon’s red card.
Real Madrid semi-final test was against the Record German Champions. Against FC Bayern Munich, Real Madrid won 4:3 to progress their third consecutive final. Now in three days, Real Madrid will face Liverpool to win their third successive final.
