After rain playing for two days, today fans witnessed cricket. The game which saw multiple swings won by Australia by 41 runs. Pakistan after playing 4 games sits on the 8th spots with their next game against India.
Start of the game, Sarfaraz Ahmed won the toss and elected to bowl first. Pakistani bowlers were not able to make an impact with a new bowl and leaked cheap runs. Australia played superbly in the first 30 overs but lost all the control in the latter part of their inning. And were bowled out in 49th overs.
David Warner scored a century taking Australia’s total to 307 which at one stage was looking over 350+.
Pakistan, on the other hand, had a bad start and lost Fakhar Zaman in third over. Azam who was looking good gave his wicket after a good start. Pakistan needed one player to play a long inning but everyone failed after several players got a good start.
In the end, Pakistan bowled out for 266 in 45th over giving Australia 3rd win in the 4th game and climbing 2nd on the table.
The game saw few instincts where Pakistan could have taken the game in the favour but they failed to do so and lost the encounter.
