IPL is the top T20 league around the world and Indians are still hopeful about IPL might happen this year. The 13th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) looks all but set to be moved out of the country due to the rise in the case of COVID-19.

“We are yet to decide on the venue but in all probability, it is going outside this year. The condition in India doesn’t look suited to have so many teams come in at one or two venues and then create an atmosphere which will be safe for the players as well as the general public even though the games may be played behind closed doors,” the official told IANS.

An official also hinted that UAE and Sri Lanka are top runners to host the IPL 2020. The BCCI is waiting for the ICC’s official words regarding T20 World Cup. BCCI is looking for a September-October window to hold the IPL. The cancellation of the tournament will lead to  ₹4,000 Cr loss to BCCI.

BCCI is looking for all the possibility to conduct the tournament and as the news broke out people on Twitter came up with the hilarious memes.
