Amid Coronavirus, sports is completely halted. IPL 2020 was scheduled to take place from March 29th but due to the pandemic, the BCCI was forced to suspend for an unforeseeable future.
IPL is the top T20 league around the world and Indians are still hopeful about IPL might happen this year. BCCI President Sourav Ganguly today has written to the state associations and talked about ‘trying all possibilities’ to host IPL 2020 this year, the fans went berserk.
“The BCCI is working on all possible options to ensure that we are able to stage the IPL this year, even if it means playing the tournament in empty stadiums. The fans, franchisees, players, broadcasters, sponsors and all other stakeholders are keenly looking forward to the possibility of IPL being hosted this year.”
