The country is fighting with COVID-19 and is in lockdown since 22nd march. The government a few days back urged every citizen to wear a face mask. A few state governments made it compulsory to wear a mask in public places. Madhya Pradesh is also on the list.
However, a Madhya Pradesh politician who comes from Gwalior Pradhmun Singh Tomar’s son Ripudaman was stopped up by a Gwalior cop for not wearing a mask, he started threatening and tried to intimidate him using his father’s name.

This time, the evergreen trick didn’t work. Former minister’s son Ripudaman can be heard saying on a call “Call this constable to the bungalow and tell me who I am.”
Later, the former minister paid the fine and punish his son. He made his son work for an hour with municipal workers cleaning the roadside.
The ex-minister said:
“He shouldn’t have misbehaved. I took him to the same spot and made him apologize publicly for what he did. We all should respect police who have been working day and night for our safety risking own lives staying away from their family in this crisis situation.”
