Every time the convict’s lawyer A.P Singh comes up with one or the other delay tactics in the execution of punishment. After all, the legal option was closed for all the 4 convicts their lawyer came up with another one.

Three of the convicts (Akshay Singh, Pawan Kumar Gupta and Vinay Sharma) of the Nirbhaya case wrote a letter to the judges of the International Court of Justice seeking a stay of their executions. They said that the death penalty is barbaric and inhumane. In the letter, they also blamed that the investigation was faulty.

The letter also stated:

“Everyone is aware of what is happening in the world and also Delhi NCR in regard to water and air. Life is going short to short, then why the death penalty?”

Their lawyer A.P Singh has submitted the application and have also requested for an open court hearing.

The legal experts say the International Court of Justice has no power to intervene in the internal matter of any country.
