A case was registered against four people, including the India head of the e-commerce website Amazon. The The victim is alleged to have bought a smartphone from the site, but soap came out in the parcel.
According to the complaint filed in Greater Noida’s Bisarakh police station, the victim told that he had bought a smartphone from the Amazon website. The order was delivered on October 27. When the victim opened the parcel, the soap replaced the phone.
According to the police, the case was filed against the accused under Section 420 and 120-B of the IPC. Amazon has confirmed this matter. Also, the process of returning the entire money to the victim was informed.
