India and Pakistan have so many issues to be resolved. The major reason involves is politics. And the other reason which unites both the country is Cricket. Not to mention, India-Pakistan has a historic rivalry.
In between all this, there is so much love between people of two. A year back, in Asia Pakistani fan Bashir Chacha made all the arrangements for Indian fan Sudhir Gautam including tickets, accommodation and food. Today emerges another touching and loving story.
Pakistan is touring Australia. The ABC radio presenter Alison Mitchell was commentating with the former pacer Mitchell Johnson. She shared the story of Indian cabbie having dinner with 5 Pakistani cricketers.
The incident came out when Mitchell Johnson took a cab to Gabba stadium and accidentally it was the same cabbie. The cabbie shared the entire incident with her.
She narrated the incident to his co-commentator.
βA couple of days ago, he was called to the Pakistan team hotel and picked up five of the Pakistan players. They wanted to go to an Indian restaurant for a meal. He drove them to an Indian restaurant.β
The cabbie didn’t take the fare ride from the cricketers. This is when the Pakistani cricketers invited him to dinner.
βHe showed the photograph on his phone of him sitting at the table at the restaurant with five members of the Pakistan cricket team.β
