On April 9th last year, Akshay Kumar launched a website “Bharat Ke Veer” with an idea of helping out the families of the Martyrs. The idea went very well with the people, whoever dreamed of helping out the soldiers in a way or other.

The idea behind this was one of the Akshay’s friend asked him, what if we as common citizens want to help out a soldier of our country.

Ever since the launch of website contribution started to come hugely. As of today, 188 families have received the amount, from 8 forces across the nation and approximately 40 crores are donated.

Looking at the immense success of the portal in such a short time, India’s Veer Website has now been made a Trust tweeted Home Minister, Rajnath Singh.

The best part is that this trust is excluded from the income tax.
A total of 7 trustees are made including Akshay Kumar and Pullela Gopichand, which will be lead by Central Home Secretary.
