Today the lockdown enforced to stop the spread of novel coronavirus pandemic has been extended for two more weeks from May 4, said the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA). The lockdown is going on since 22nd March.

The country is divided into three zones red, orange and green depending on the effect of COVID-19. The government has given various relaxation in different zones. The main concern was the opening of liquor stores.
The liquor stores can be opened with strict guidelines to be followed given by MHA. non-containment areas in orange & red zones. Liquor shops can be open in green zones and in non-containment areas in orange & red zones.
