The pandemic is disturbing everyone’s life. People are forced to sit home amid lockdown. The opening of lockdown has also not benefitted as many are scared of coronavirus. Humans now want to make their homes a better place to live all the comforting as they are now spending the majority of the time there.
Just to give weighted to it, a hilarious incident took place which is shared on Reddit. A gamer spent his and his fiance’s entire wedding saving for a new gaming PC. He not only purchase a new PC but other supporting components and a table and a gaming chair.
The woman only came to know about all the spending when she looked at the bill. The boy has spent their entire saving ₹6.3 lakh approx. ($8,000) on a gaming PC.
Here is how the story goes. The boy’s best friend purchased a new gaming PC which encouraged him to get a new one. The boy seeks girl’s permission for the same but she denied initially but days after continuously asking she finally said yes without being aware of the cost.
When the gamin PC gets home it also has a table and a fancy chair came along. The girl after looking at the bill became furious. She confronted and realized their whole saving has been spent on buying the game.
“We had a very big argument that night and I scolded him for spending all our savings because that savings contained not only his money but my money as well. And we were saving it for our wedding.”
When the guy said, he will earn it back, she did not believe him and turns out, her complaint was on-point as the gaming PC became his world and he stopped participating in household chores as well.
The guy since getting the new gaming PC is spending all his time on it and is not even worried about his job work — ignoring all the calls as well. The boy wakes up all night and sleeps till afternoon.
After reading the tale, many in the comments section advised the woman to stand her ground and stop “catering” to his needs. Others suggested ways to change the password to the router so that the fiance could not continue to game.
The fiance has meanwhile promised to earn back all the money he lost on the PC.
