Dhoni ended with 29 off 17 but was on 9 off 12 before the final over started, with CSK needing 38. Dhoni batted at No.7 while chasing. This didn’t go well with Gautam Gambhir who slammed the veteran cricketer for batting at No. 7.

Gautam Gambhir was quoted as saying by ESPNCricinfo.

“Makes no sense to me. In fact, you should be leading from the front, Yes, you can talk about MS Dhoni’s last over when he hit three sixes, but it was of no use, to be honest. It was just all personal runs.”

Dhoni fans were in instant disagreement with Gambhir’s sharp remarks and the former Indian cricketer was on the trending list on Twitter as he faces online trolls.

And his latest fan interaction was with an opponent he was going to face later in the day. The 18-year-old Yashasvi Jaiswal.

On Tuesday, Chennai Super Kings played their second game against the Rajasthan Royals who were set to play their maiden match of the season.

18-year-old Jaiswal, who was handed out a debut for his side Rajasthan Royals. He became a familiar name after the heroic performance in the U-19 World Cup this year. He got the perfect opportunity to meet the legend in person after Dhoni won the toss and asked RR to bat first.

As Dhoni was seen greeting his opponents, fist-bumping them (pandemic effect), Jaiswal smiled and gestured MS with folded hands. The photo of Jaiswal’s fanboy moment instantly went viral on Twitter. Fans called it a respectful gesture towards a 39-year-old Indian cricketer.

Lately, the WhatsApp chat went viral with the names ‘K’ and ‘D’. It is also now confirmed that D is Deepika Padukone. It is said that the actress asked for ‘hash, not weed’ in a chat with ‘K’. Both names – D and K surfaced in the WhatsApp drugs chat.

The chats accessed are from October 2017 and show Deepika asking for “maal” from ‘K’ who replies that she has it, but at home. Further ‘K’ says that she can ask ‘Amit’ if she wants it, as “he is carrying”. Deepika also then clarifies that she needs “Hash” and not “weed” as the two discuss logistics.

Deepika Padukone’s manager Karishma Prakash has been summoned by NCB for questioning. Karishma Prakash is Jaya Saha’s assistant, who also manages also Deepika Padukone. Jaya Saha’s name surfaced in Rhea Chakraborty’s interrogation in connection with Sushant Singh Rajput’s death.

All the students whom I have helped to come from abroad, I have all their details. I don’t want to clarify but I have the data. Instead of trolling me, go out and help someone.”

However, the efforts have been unable to safeguard him from hate online. On being asked about being targeted and questioned about his public work, the actor said,

“I heard a story as a child. A sadhu (godman) had a magnificent horse and a daaku asked him to give the horse to him. The sadhu refused and went ahead. In the jungle, he saw an elderly man who could barely walk. He offered the horse to the old man. The moment he sat on the horse, he revealed himself to be the daaku and started getting away. The holy man stopped him and said that you can take the horse but don’t tell anyone how you took my horse because then people will stop believing in doing good deeds. That is my reply to trolls, you may be doing it because it is your profession, you are being paid for it. It doesn’t affect me and I will continue doing what I do.”

Sonu Sood again reiterated that he has no plan to join politics as of now, a question he has answered often in the last few months.

After the initial delay of months, IPL 2020 is here to entertain for a good number of days. The first game was a mouthwatering clash CSK vs MI. MSD for Chennai won the toss and decided to bowl first.

The Mumbai Indians scored 162 for 9 after Chennai Super Kings asked them to bat first. MI got off to a flyer with Rohit and de Kock going all guns blazing but CSK came back with two wick wickets.

Rayudu scored 71 off 48 balls and du Plessis remained unbeaten on 58 off 44 balls. They had steadied CSK after they lost their openers in the first two overs of the chase.
