In India, we came across stories of sexual assault every now and then. Not only women but also small children are not safe here, , which is a brutal truth and it even hurts a lot to responsible citizens of the country. Just because of few cowards whole nation has to bow there heads in shame.

For today the story of this travel blogger from the United States, whose story of the sexual assault she underwent during her trip to India will melt you down.

Travellight is a popular YouTube travel vlogger, who post videos of her travelling around the places. In July she was in India with her boyfriend. She was excited about her new collaboration. Before three days, she even posted a video “India’s First Impression” with all happy faces around the streets of National Capital.

However in the next video which she posted two days ago wasn’t a good one. The 18-minute long video narrates the ugly side of India which she experienced. The first glimpse of India was a good one.

She Posted a Video with title: “This Happened in India // Sexual Assault”

The video is 18 minutes long, and she describes her story, how she was sexually assaulted on the streets, even when her boyfriend was beside her. This all doesn’t stop here thou. One guy on the street directly said to her “I want to fuck you” when her boyfriend was right beside me, narrates the Vlogger in her video.

It even got worse in the later stages that she had to spend the days inside her hotel room. Her boyfriend left four days earlier and these remaining days were so horrifying for her in the country.

Hotel staff followed her, They intercom her several times, making a sexual sound, calling her Baby and insisting her to open the door again and again.

Several guys were roaming outside her room all the times. They turned off the AC and the WiFi as well and insisting her to open a door so that they can repair the same. But, the lady didn’t open the door, and that was the best decision she did.

She keeps telling that her remaining trip to India was beautiful but it, was the last days which had shaken her to the core.

A number of comments started to come on the videos and people were sharing the moments which they were trapped in, and as an India we all were heading down in the Shame all over again and again.

She even clarified the query, people were asking through comments.

There is no update from OYO anyhow about the strict action.

Comments on YouTube and Reddit started to flow with people sharing their nightmare in India and Indians heading there head in the shame for country’s treatment of female foreign tourists.

One Japanese tourist shares her story of helping out her friend from a similar situation, with the help of Japanese embassy officials.

Many of the Indians directly asked female tourist no to visit India, or if they do make it in massive number for there safety. Just because of a few fellows whole country is ashamed.

This isn’t the first such case which we came across. And sadly this will not be last to happen. This doesn’t go to the according to the country who calls there guest as avatars of God. But, could not even provide them safety. The government should consider this. So, that the guest should not suffer who came to enjoy there holidays and we all should be able to provide the heartwarming experience.
