A CCTV footage is going viral where a Pakistan bureaucrat is seen picking up a wallet of Kuwaiti delegate.The incident took place in a high-level delegation meeting in the hall at the Economic Affairs Division. According to Dawn, the Grade 20 officer stole the wallet of a member of the Kuwaiti delegation which visited the country to discuss investment plans in Pakistan.

The bureaucrat has been identified as Joint Investment and Facilitation Secretary Zarar Haider Khan by Samaa TV. The incident came to light after the Kuwaiti delegation launched an official complain that wallet of one of the member is missing. This humiliated act was caught on CCTV camera at the Finance Ministry. It quickly went viral on Reddit and Twitter.

“An internal inquiry was in progress against the bureaucrat and the officer is suspended from the post for further inquiry. The investigation will be carried out by Establishment division.
