Football World Cup has just wrapped up a week ago after one month of marathon football which France won. Now, the World Cup is done the focus is shifted to the club football. All the clubs are looking closely to strengthen their squad for the upcoming football season. Transfer business has picked up the pace. International Champions Cup has already started as a warm-up fixture. The first week of August will mark the cup games in the leagues. La Liga season is all set to begin after four weeks from now. August 18th will mark the start of new season. The broadcasting rights of La Liga Santander in previous season were with Sony network. From this season Facebook has cracked a deal with La Liga and they will be broadcast on their platform. The deal is worth 90 million and for 3 years.
Serie A:
Italy’s top league will start their 2018-19 season on August 19th. With Juventus having managed to wrap up Ronaldo in their squad which is also the transfer of the season. With Ronaldo’s arrival at Old Lady will boost the Italian League, but at the same time will also provide Cristiano Ronaldo with a fresh challenge in the later part of his career.
The Serie A has grabbed world attention with Ronaldo’s arrival, which will also boost Italy’s league as well. Sony network has the rights to broadcast Serie A season. It’ll also be streamed online on their digital platform.
Bundesliga:
Germany top flight have some delayed start compare to other league due to 18 clubs in the league. Bundesliga will have a week delayed start compared to La Liga and two weeks late when compared to Premier League. Ligue 1:
The World Champion’s top flight will begin on August 10th with Paris St. Germain trying to defend their title. Kylian Mbappé the French hero in World Cup along with world record singing Neymar Jr. will start their title defence against Caen.
