India came into the game with high confidence after winning the 1st ODI in Hyderabad. India batting first after losing the in Nagpur toss lost ten wickets for 250 with 10 balls to play. In reply, Australia was bowled out for 242. India won by eight runs taking a 2-0 lead in the 5 match ODI series.

India lost Rohit Sharma for a duck in the first over. It was Kohli and Vijay Shankar partnership who combine to score 81 runs. Virat Kohli scored his 40th ton in the ODI today. He made 116. Vijay Shankar scored 46. MSD got a golden duck.

Australia started off well to an 83 runs partnership but both fell in a spare of 6 deliveries. The game went to its peak excitement in the last six overs. With 38 needed it could be a cakewalk for Australia but, Bumrah has other plans who took two wickets in the 46th over.

It all came down to last over when Vijay has 11 runs in the bank to defend. The man who gave 13 runs in his first over started magically and took the big fish Stoinis on the 1st ball. This completely changes the game in India’s favour. He bowled Zampa to the perfect yorker on 3rd delivery to give India an 8 run victory in Nagpur.
