As soon as the 1st inning of the match was completed, Australia was the team to win the game. With just 127 to win Australia was the clear favourite. But, that wasn’t the case in the end.
India in the end lost the thriller with three wickets.
India after losing the toss was invited to bat and could put up only 126 runs with KL Rahul’s half-century. MSD made 29 while skipper contributed 24. All the remaining players were back to pavilion within single digits.
Australia, on the other hand, didn’t start well and were reduced to 5/2. Maxwell and Short scored 84 and put away team on driving seat but five quick wickets put back the pressure back on the Australia Jasprit Bumrah bowled 19th over and gave just 2 runs which gave Umesh Yadav 13 runs to defend in last over which he couldn’t.
