India opens World Cup campaign with a win. Rohit Sharma scored a century and Chahal 4 wickets gave India an easy win. This is South Africa’s third consecutive loss and they are almost out of the tournament.
South Africa won the toss and decided to bat first, but lost wickets at regular interval and posted a total of 227 runs. India while batting lost, Dhawan and Kohli early, but Rohit stick to one end and smashed 100.
Sharma, in the end, went on to score 122 and made sure India cross the line. Twitter was all praise for India’s opener match-winning inning.
