IPL’s most successful franchise Chennai Super Kings after a shaky 2020 campaign, are alive after winning yesterday’s game against Sunrishers Hyderabad. Chennai game against Hyderabad was a must-win game, and after five back to back losses, CSK finally tasted a victory.
The game didn’t end without controversy. Dhoni is known for his calmness, but yesterday, he lost his coolness, maybe the heat of the moment.
The incident took place in the 19th over of the game. Shardul Thakur bowled a yorker and it was clearly outside the tramline. And the umpire was about to stretch his arms wide, which Dhoni sees and gets angry, and the umpire doesn’t give it a wide.
