Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic Played the longest and the most thrilling Wimbledon’s final yesterday. Djokovic retains his championship after playing 5 hours and winning in the 5th set tie-breaker.
Novak against the fans showed pure class and won the pressure situation and came back from 2 championship point. These are the games where one has to win and others have to lose and to be honest the match doesn’t deserve anyone to be on the losing end.
After the presentation, when Roger was called on for the post-match interview, his answers were full of humour.
He was aked of being a part in the magnificent final which will be remembered ages after. He said — I’ll try to forget. And everyone in the court couldn’t stop clapping.
He even joked about the plate he won after being runners up at Wimbledon when Roger was asked about his kids.
Novak, in his post-match interview, was quick to respond to Roger saying he hopes he gives some other people chance to believe that they can do it at 37. Novak said I’m one of them. He inspires me. For sure.
