India made history on tour to Australia by winning the test series and the one day series for the first time. In the last ODI in MCG, India defeated Australia by seven wickets and won the three-match series by 2-1 after losing the 1st One Day.
Kedar Jadhav and MS Dhoni’s partnership crossed the line for India to clinch the series.
It was MS masterclass in the ODI series where he scored three back to back half centuries in which two were the match-winning knock from his bat. Dhoni was criticised for his knock in the 1st ODI but, coming to last two ODI MS earned all the praise. He won Man of the series for his performance in the series scoring 193 runs.
