India has continued to dominate the 1st test against Bangladesh in Indore. After Bangladesh was dismissed for 150 on Day 1, India is all set towards a match-winning lead against the Tigers. All thanks to India’s opener Mayank Agarwal.
In the first session of Day 2, Bangladesh pacer Abu Jayed stunned Indore after picking up Cheteshwar Pujara and skipper Virat Kohli in the same over. Mayank had other plans for the day.
He with Ajinkya Rahane built the Indian inning and soon after the lunch, he crossed the three-figure mark. After scoring a ton, there isn’t any lapse in concentration despite losing Rahane from the Indian opener and he went on scoring.
He completed 150 and then Kohli gestured him to go on and make a double hundred. Agarwal reached his second Test double ton with a six and applause from everyone inside the stadium. He was dismissed on 243 but till then India holds the key to the test match.

Great example of how to cement your place. Having toiled for so long, Mayank Agarwal is making his opportunity, and form, count. This is a classy double.
