Newcastle centre back Matt Ritchie had already produced Miss Of The Season. Newcastle was playing away to Burnley. Away team was two-goal up by 23rd minute thanks to own goal by Ben Mee in the 4th minute of the game and then Ciaran Clark’s 23-minute strike. But, it was Matt Ritchie who headlines the day with his open goal miss from a yard.
Surely the miss of the season so far by Matt Ritchie. Oh my. pic.twitter.com/7ws2anmLqp

Newcastle survived the late scare from Burnley to win 2-1. The victory saw Benítez side climb up to a 13th position somewhat safe from the relegation zone. Whereas Burnley who surprised with 7th position finish last season is lying at the 17th position just one point clear of relegation. Southampton, Cardiff City and Fulham all lies below Burnley for the race of relegation in Premier League.
