Mary Kom creates history, as she wins the World Boxing Championship today in New Delhi. She outclassed Ukraine’s Hanna Okhota by a unanimous 5-0 decision in the women’s 48 kg light flyweight final at the KD Jadhav Indoor Stadium. After winning the title for record 6th time, Indian boxer couldn’t hold her tears in front of the home fans.
After three rounds of boxing, Kom was declared the champion by a 5-0 unanimous decision. The gigantic victory fetched her sixth World Championship title.
The 35-year-old Mary Kom outclassed Ukrainian opponent Hanna Okhota in the women’s 48 kg light flyweight final.
