KL Rahul is going through one of the worst periods in his professional life. He wasn’t able to produce a memorable performance with his bat and he is on the troller’s eye for the same. Today on the day-3 of the final test match between India and Australia, KL Rahul’s act of honesty has won hearts.
In the 15th over of Australian inning, Jadeja came in action and with his first ball it just bounced in front of Indian opener. As he collected the ball, Jadeja was running towards him as he thought the catch was taken clean, but Rahul immediately signalled that it wasn’t a clean catch.
This close to Jadeja picking up a wicket with his first ball of the day.

The act of honesty by Indian player is not only applauded by the commentators but also by the umpire Ian Gould who claps and gave him a thumbs up.
A good effort from Rahul and he immediately says it bounced. Great stuff. Umpire Gould a big fan of it #CloseMatters#AUSvIND | @GilletteAU pic.twitter.com/7nA0H5Lsc7

This looked out for all money, but brilliant honesty from KL Rahul to not hesitate in ruling it out.
Umpire Ian Gould was certainly impressed.
