The 2020 IPL which is postponed in March after so much uncertainty is finally going to happen from September 19th to November 8th. Ahead of the season, the title sponsor of the IPL Chinese brand Vivo’s is suspended, and Patanjali has joined in the race.

After the violent clash between the Indian-Chinese troops in the Galwan valley, Chinese products are facing immense backlash online. VIVO is suspended for this year, while it is said that it will return for the next year.

Several major brands have expressed interest in becoming the new sponsor for IPL 2020 which includes Patanjali along with the likes of Byju’s, Coca-Cola and Amazon.

“We are considering the IPL title sponsorship for this year, since we want to give the Patanjali brand a global marketing platform,” Patanjali spokesperson SK Tijarawala told.

But, Patanjali’s interest in the sponsorship deal keeps Twitter busy.
