Late Drama As Chelsea Goalkeeper Refuses To Be Replaced In Carabao Cup Final

Manchester City won the Carabao Cup in the penalties against Chelsea after the goalkeeper refuses to be replaced late in the game. No team was able to break the deadlock until the penalties, but it was Kepa — the Sarri’s goalkeeper who made the headlines.

Full Time (penalties) — Man City (4): Chelsea (3)

Kepa was injured or having some minor issues in the 2nd half of extra time so, sarri wanted to replace him but, he refused. Chelsea manager was furious as his keeper didn’t obey him. Despite Chelsea improved performance this incident dominated the game.

I have never seen such incident in football. As a manager he is the boss on the filed and as a player you have to follow his instructions. Let it be right or wrong but, you have to follow that’s your job as a player.
