The national anthem is one of those everyone starts learning from the day schooling starts. And singing it for so many years, it sets in our minds for the rest of life. Look’s like the newly elected Bihar Education Minister isn’t familiar with the it.
This cost him his ministerial post. He had to resign after three days of taking the oath. He faced corruption charges by the opposition as well. An old clip of him singing the national anthem wrongly surfaced on the microblogging site as well.
In the video, Mewalal Choudhary is heard singing the national anthem as, “Punjab Vasant Gujarat Maratha” while he should have sung, “Punjab Sindh Gujarat Maratha”. The video soon went viral and is flooded with the reaction on social media.
Early morning laughs…. This is Mewalal Choudhary… He doesnt know the National Anthem.. reportedly has half a dozen criminal cases against him… and hes the new Education Minister of Bihar… thats how @NitishKumar @NarendraModi will build “Aatmanirbhar Bihar, New India”… pic.twitter.com/MhzvOw09vj

Looks like Bihar’s Education Minister was so in hurry to devour Samosa Jalebi post flag hoisting that he forgot the National Anthem. Good work #NitishKumar We won’t forget your contribution when we reach 5 Trillion dollars Economy.

The system is flawed. What’s the minimum qualification for an Education Minister? The ability to breathe. And what’s the minimum qualification for a chaprasi? 10th pass! #Bihar #NationalAnthem #JanaGanaMana https://t.co/BqCdjG1GQc
